EVANGELISM AND COMPASSION

por | Ene 15, 2020

(NCSA Argentina) A living nativity was held in a retirement home by the NYI and Compassionate Ministry of the House of Restoration  Church of the Nazarene Portezuelo in San Luis from the Cuyo District, Argentina on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

It was a shared afternoon with each grandparent, presenting Jesus to their hearts. Each grandparent shared what they believe, and there was a time of praise and worship, as they do each week. They represent a congregation outside of the church, the church goes to their place. During the visit, the church members got to know Adelina, a new resident in the house, who received Christ as her Savior.

The Biblical passage that guided the shared time was:

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end. Luke 1:30-33

Cintia Amaya, District NYI President, said, “God called us to serve those who are in the last stages of life, we said, ‘Yes, here I am, Lord!’”
